I would like to record my thanks to all those members of The Mothers’ Union, Tideswell Artability and the young Apprentices who worked so hard to complete twenty two model cribs (called Szopka) for the Christmas display in our Parish Church.
The finished models helped to add the colour and sparkle that is always associated with Christmas time and is so much a part of the excitement of that magical season. The collection box at the side of the display contained £131, fifty pounds of which was gifted to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, fifty pounds to Charis House at Buxton and thirty one pounds to our Parish Church. If you want to learn more about Szopka – look it up on the internet; you will be amazed!
