Tideswell Cricket Club intend to start a junior section next season commencing at the start of May 2013. The initial focus will be on establishing an Under 13 team to play junior league cricket during the 2014 season.
With this in mind we are initially keen to hear from children who are currently between eight and 11 years of age who would be interested in joining our training sessions at Tideswell Sports Ground next May. The sessions will be run by an experienced and fully qualified ECB Level 2 Coach. There will be a membership fee of £10 per annum and a charge of £3 per session; training sessions will commence at 4.30 pm and finish at 5.45 pm and are likely to be held on Wednesday or Thursday nights depending upon the coach’s other engagements. Places will be limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Anyone wishing to join should contact either Andy Stelling on 01298 872042 or Bob Walkden on 01298 871804.
