IT’S CARNIVAL TIME APPROACHING! Lots of excitement and fun with magical entertainment and we are looking for someone to lead the procession as Tideswell’s King or Queen.
You will eat a delicious banquet, wave at your friends and family in the crowd dressed as a royal on a decorated float.
Conditions:
• Royalty have to be a resident of the Parish of Tideswell
• Closing date for entrants is 31/03/2025
Support for the parents of those interested:
• A float is available to customise to your colour specifications
• Tideswell Wakes Committee will provide a budget for the outfit and accessories
• Sashes and flowers will be provided
• The lucky people will need to commit to attending Tideswell Carnival plus at least one other within the local area.
Categories (approximate – there is a role for everyone):
Queen/King – Year 6+
Queen’s Attendants – Year 5/6
Princess/Prince – Year 5
Rosebuds – Year 3 / 4
Petals/Page boys – Reception, Year 1 or Year 2
