Tideswell Community Garden

The Tideswell Community Garden is a place for people of all ages to try their hand at gardening or just relax, socialise and enjoy our seasonal produce as and when it is ready.

The garden is always open for the community and visitors and there is always something to do – just check out the notice board in the greenhouse – or just sit and relax and enjoy the sun!!

Our current projects include replacing some of the raised beds and repairing the compost bins.

A children’s area is being created with the help of a generous donation from The Tideswell & District Community Association.

We are also improving our wildlife area using a grant from the Derbyshire wildlife Trust.

We have a monthly get-together, usually at a weekend and dates will be posted on Tideswell People Facebook page.  Our next meeting will be a weekend in April, to be decided, and we look forward to seeing regular and new faces.

Also, in March on Friday mornings Elin will be re – starting her “Nature Tots” sessions in the garden, a nature based playtime for the under 5s.

Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for details of gardening sessions, nature tots and more, or contact Elin on 07949667649
