We’re collecting recipes and stories for a “Tidza Orchard Recipe Book”, so please send us your family favourites for pies,crumbles, jams, cakes & jellies, and savoury recipes too. Do you have recipes passed down from your great-great-grandmother, or recipes with a great story behind them? And don’t forget your children’s recipes too.
If you can send a photo or a children’s drawing, we’ll try to publish those as well. There are many old, traditional, Derbyshire & Yorkshire fruit trees in the Tideswell Community Orchard so we hope to create a book with old, traditional Derbyshire & Yorkshire fruit recipes. It will be the perfect Christmas present, so don’t forget your recipes for damson gins, apple brandies & other wonderful fruity liqueurs.
