> Tideswell Fell Race donated a fantastic £600 – thanks to race organisers, race marshalls, helpers on the night and race participants.
> We had a Wakes donation of £250 – many thanks to all.
> ‘Cornets In the Sky’ raised an amazing £2500 –thanks to all involved and a special thanks to Judy and Helen who actually did the descent whilst playing their cornets.
> Andrew Wright, David Wain and Nigel Megson arranged a great night of 80’s music. Everyone who attended said it was an excellent evening and £250 was raised – special thanks to The George who hosted the evening and all who helped to collect money on the night.

> We had our AGM in October which was very well attended with a lot of ideas/ discussion and active participation. 3 new members have joined the committee which is very encouraging. Unfortunately our Lottery Bid was unsuccessful but we have not totally given up on that one yet. We are exploring other avenues and remain hopeful that this much needed facility will still get built. We continue to fund raise locally and welcome any ideas, help or participation in our project from local interested parties or individuals
