Tideswell Community Players’ next production is a comedy drama about memory loss.
Bothered and Bewildered is written by Gail Young, the same person who wrote Cheshire Cats – very successfully performed by the Players in 2016.
Directed by Rob Puckett and with a strong female cast, the play is about a woman’s struggle with Alzheimer’s. The play follows Irene and her two daughters, Louise and Beth, as the women lose their mum in spirit but not in body. While poignant there are plenty of opportunities for sensitive and observational comedy about this issue that has touched many of our families.
