High Peak Diabetic SHG were pleased to welcome members of the Tideswell First Responders team, to a special Training event. Ian Taylor was responsible for powerpoint talks. Sue Barber (Biomedical Scientist) gave an overview of the various types of diabetes and treatments available. Tracy Gill (OT in Stroke Dept, Thameside) gave a talk about the effects of diabetes on stroke patients. The general discussion at the close of the day was well received by all. The group would like to thank the First Responders for all that they do for Tideswell.
