An American heist movie in the classic Hollywood tradition by British director Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead). Guns, gangsters in shades, car- chases around the city, across highways and down narrow back alleys with a fabulous soundtrack throughout – Detroit Emeralds, T.Rex, Barry White, Simon & Garfunkel. Baby(Ansel Elgort), a talented young getaway driver with a hearing disability relies on the beat of his personal i-pod soundtrack to be the best in the game. Using his getaway driving skills he pays off a debt to a crime boss, meets waitress (Lily James) and just as things are beginning to work out for them he is brought back in for one more dangerous heist with other gangsters played by Jon Hamm and Jamie Foxx.
Doors open 7.30 for 8pm and the bar will be open for refreshments before and after the film.
