We have a proposal to make a Story Circle in Richard Lane Playground. A storycircle is a group of wooden benches in a semi-circle with a carved tree stump for the story teller at one end. It can be used for all sorts of activities for children’s groups, mothers and toddlers or for family get-togethers and picnics.It would be located in the far corner between the slide and swings and will be funded by Tideswell Community Orchard, so it will also have a circle of apple trees around it.
