As we go to print Tideswell Singers’ annual ‘Come & Sing’ has yet to happen and by the time you read this, it will have been and gone!
We are anticipating a day of joyful singing with around 100 musicians fill the Cathedral of the Peak with glorious sound!
We will then start preparations for the Festive season. We already have several dates in our performance calendar. Friday 1 December will be the first occasion we will be present at the switching on of the Christmas lights in the village – time and place to be confirmed. A new highlight for the run up to Christmas is singing at Haddon Hall, a beautiful, unspoilt Elizabethan Hall which lends itself to a group of carol singers in the Great Hall. We will be singing there 12pm and 2pm on Sunday 3 December.
Litton church carol service is Friday 15 December and we love to sing in our second home – it is where we rehearse when Litton Village Hall is unavailable.
Tideswell Singers rehearse on Wednesdays at 7:30pm in Litton Village Hall (Litton Church every second Wednesday of the month).
