It was me who collapsed on Chantry Lane earlier this year. I’d like to thank Martin who rang immediately for an ambulance and a village first responder who was there in two minutes.
I had seven blood clots on my lungs and needed oxygen for a week in hospital. My heart was struggling to cope and a nurse told me that I wouldn’t have survived if I hadn’t got help so quickly.
Thank you very much indeed.
Melvin.
