Biomedical Scientist Sue Barber, organised a Diabetes Training Day at the Heart of the Peak. Members of staff from local GP surgeries and ward staff came along to find out more about diabetes care. Speakers included Diabetes Nurse specialist Michelle, Mental Health Lead Nurse Lee, Medical detection dogs’ Rhea, Kate from Care100, Harpreet from Diabetes UK, and Sue herself.
All delegates were presented with certificates at the end of the day.
