A Monk’s Tale

Live professional theatre comes to Litton

A Monk’s Tale: Relics, Revolt & Reformation is coming to Litton after a 3 week run at the Edinburgh Festival! The show is about Martin Luther and the 95 Theses, which sparked one of the most significant movements in history: the Reformation. It is light, accessible and funny, using sketches and songs to explain the story: the indulgences, purgatory, the sacraments and theological disputes of the period. As the play unfolds, the audience will be informed and challenged as well as entertained and amused.

It is written and directed by James Cary, an award-winning sitcom writer for BBC TV and radio (Miranda, Bluestone 42 and Another case of Milton Jones).

The performance is on 15th September 8.00pm at Christ Church Litton. Tickets, £10 before 30th June, £12 after 30th June, are on sale now from Litton Shop (01298 872881).
