Remarks
Mild, dull and wet sums the month up, with many grey, damp and gloomy days. There were no significant weather events during the month but it is notable that there was a complete absence of air frost after the 11th. Storm ‘Doris’ on the 23rd produced a maximum wind gust of only 53 m.p.h. Stronger gusts occur in Tideswell in most years.
