Pop-up Restaurant

St John’s Church is holding a special meal in the Institute at 6pm on Sunday 6th November, with lovingly prepared Middle Eastern cuisine, including falafels, hummus, couscous – and that staple crop, olives. It is in support of Amos Trust, a human rights and justice organisation which focuses on ‘forgotten’ people, and in particular the Palestinians of the Occupied Territories who face daily hardships.

Margaret Filer is recently returned from a trip there and will share a few of her experiences, with a backdrop of photos. This promises to be an evening of good food, fun and interest and if you would like to come please phone Margaret on 871681 or email Rev Simon White on inigodexter@me.com to book a ticket (£5) as soon as possible as places are limited.
