Thanks for all your harvest donations, these have been a huge boost to our dwindling stock. This month if you candonate, we need UHT milk, pasta sauce, Christmas items and tins of vegetables, fruit and puddings. There is a box at the back of St John’s Parish Church, Tideswell, for donations of non-perishable food or toiletries.
The Old Hall Hotel, Buxton, is hosting a Christmas market in aid of the Foodbank featuring local craftspeople and artisans on Sun Dec 6th, 5.30-8.30pm. Enjoy the sights and smells of Christmas, tuck into some seasonal food and get all your Christmas shopping done in one evening.
High Peak Foodbank and Zink Employability are looking for new trustees. Meeting 4-5 times a year in Buxton a t6.30pm, trustees steer the direction of the charity and oversee its operations. Some trustees also get involved in our activities. No experience is required, being a charity trustee is a great addition to your CV as well as being a wayto help your local community.
