It sure did rain and the wind did blow,
But that didn’t stop Tidza’s Open Show.
A fun packed day with delights amass,
A plethora of entries in every class.
With vegetables galore on display,
The runner beans stole the day.
Long and straight, a flawless six,
A crisp clean snap, a perfect mix.
A display of blooms in blossoming flirtation,
Of colour and structure, a winning combination.
Children too didn’t leave empty handed,
As fruit, veg and art they commanded.
Hedgehogs from grapes, cauliflower sheep,
Tiny gardens where tigers or fairies sleep.
The wonderful Tideswell Band delighted us all,
With music drifting throughout the hall.
So really, all that is left to say,
A massive thank you for a marvellous day.
