This month’s highlight was winning two Third Place prizes in the Allotment Show on Saturday 3 September – one for a basket of vegetables and one for our vase of flowers. Well done to all of our garden volunteers for their work this year! We were also delighted to contribute produce to the annual Harvest Supper on Monday 26 September.
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 1 October at 14:00 in St John’s Institute (behind the Church and just in front of the Kitchen Garden). Refreshments will be available and we would love anyone who is interested to attend. As well as reviewing the past year, we will also be deciding what we might like to plant next year (always fun!), so if there’s anything you fancy trying to grow, please come along!
