THE NEW TIDESWELL FOOTBALL CLUB – SEASON BEGINS As announced in the July issue, starting in August Dave Bradbury’s new Tideswell United teamare playing matches in the Central Midlands League Division North. The first visitors were Appleby Frodingham, from Scunthorpe (result: 3-1 to Appleby), andthe first home match after this issue of the Village Voice appears will be v Collingham FC, from Newark, on Sat 10th September. Collingham returned to the Central Midlands League last season after a 13-year absence, and finished in 13th place in the 18-team Division South. This season they have been moved to Division North. The following weekend (17 Sep) Appleby Frodingham return to Tideswell for the first round ofthe League Cup.
