Tideswell and District Community Association hosts Tidza’s Last Night of the Proms in The Cathedral of the Peak with Tideswell Band Saturday 17th September at 7.30pm Tideswell & District Community Association is delighted to present its first ever “Tidza’s Last Night of the Proms” concert at St John the Baptist’s Parish Church on Saturday 17th September, 7.30pm start. The concert, featuring Tideswell Band and friends, includes Music from the Films and a sing-along medley of war time songs. We hope it is a fun evening for all. The audience, armed with coveted and obligatory hand held union flags, will be captivated by this specially selected patriotic sing-along in the second half, followed by a superb, rousing traditional Finale. Tickets £10.00 are obtainable from Tideswell Post Office and on the door.
