Thank you to everyone from the Tideswell area who gave food, time and money to High Peak Foodbank in 2015.
Your support has enabled staff and volunteers to launch additional services for foodbank users including Zink, our work and skills programme. Zink was celebrated in an All Party Parliamentary Group Report launched in London recently with a suggestion that other foodbanks might want to incorporate similar support.
This month the foodbank particularly needs: tinned meat, tinned meat pies, tinned vegetables, UHT milk. Donations of money can also be made online to help cover running costs, go to www.highpeakfoodbank.co.uk
There is a box at the back of St John’s Parish Church, Tideswell, for non-perishable food or toiletries.
