Members of the choir also entertained cyclists as they rode through Headstone Tunnel as part of the vintage cycling event, L’Eroica.

Tideswell Singers have been invited to give a similar concert in in St Hugh’s Parish Church, Foolow at 7:30, Wednesday 15 July.  We sang there a couple of years ago and know that we, and any audience who would like to join us, will be given a very warm welcome.

After a summer break, rehearsalsll, when the choir embarks on an ambitious project as part of Classical Sheffield Music Fes   On Saturday 24 October, Tideswell Singers will be joining Hallam Choral Society and Hallam Sinfonia for a performance of Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms in Sheffield Cathedral.

Tideswell Singers also extend an invitation to come along and sing. There are no auditions and rehearsals are directed in a way that encourages everyone to sing to the best of their ability.  Singers need no previous experience and although we generally sing from music scores, it is not necessary to be able to read music as you will be able to learn as you go along.  Rehearsals are 7:30pm Wednesday evenings in Litton Village Hall.
