Litton School will once again be enjoying Wakes Week. From Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th June throughout the school day there will be traditional Maypole dancing as well as the café which be open in the school for sandwiches, homemade cakes, tea and coffee.
As part of Wakes Week, the children design and build their own well dressing which takes 7 days to complete and the well dressing will be on display next to the school. The main well is on display at the Methodist church in the village.
Come and see the children in Victorian costume, visit the wells and enjoy a cup of tea, sandwich and homemade cake. The children will be performing the Maypole dancing at 11am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm each day (weather permitting).
