A snowy month despite temperatures being a little above average and despite an almost complete absence of winds from the east semi-circle. The heavy snowfall on the morning of the 29th was remarkable with the depth increasing from 7cm at0630 to 10cm at 0900 and to 23cm at 1100. Most of the snow fell with the temperature in the range 0.0 to +0.5 deg.
