Film fans get your calendars and diaries out! Here are the films and dates for the new season 2014-15 at The Cressbrook – venue for Cressbrook Film Club. As fans know we have a wide cinema screen, high quality sound, really comfy seats, doors open 7.30 for 8pm, the bar will be open for refreshments before and after the film and as ever, there’s a warm welcome for old and new members and guests.
Friday 10th October 2014 – The Grand Budapest Hotel Cert 15 100mins
A British-German comedy-drama with an all-star cast including Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton and Owen Wilson. A funny, quirky story line which is eccentric, delightful and sad with a distinctly nostalgic feel for a Europe which had already essentially disappeared at the time the action took place.

12 December 2014 – American Hustle 9 January 2015 – Captain Philips 13 February 2015 – Blue Jasmine 13 March 2015 – The Monuments Men 17 April 2015 – Collateral 8 May 2015 – Film season finale
Once again the final film of the season will be a recent release from the Oscars, London Film Festival or BAFTA. This will be announced in March.

Membership of Cressbrook Film Club is £20 for the whole season with guest membership available at £5.00 per film for adults and £3 for kids.
