I am pleased to tell you about some exciting changes that are planned for Tideswell Stores and Post Office, later in the year. Working with Post Office Ltd, I shall be modernising the store. As part of the refurbishment, the Post Office and shop counters will be moved and there will be new shelving and displays. All of this will give a more open and brighter feel to your Post Office.
Following the changes, the Post Office will be open for longer and you will have most of the current Post Office services whenever the shop is open. Even on a Sunday morning, you will be able to post a parcel, tax your car, or buy Euros for your holiday.
So that the work can be carried out, we shall be closed for around 10 days during the middle of September. I am sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause to those Tideswell people who rely on us, however I believe that these changes will help secure the long-term future of the Post Office in Tideswell.
