For those getting this through their letterboxes before the end of May, just a reminder about The Accrington Pals being performed on 28th to 30th May in St John the Baptist Church.
The play, written by Peter Whelan and performed by Tideswell Community Players is the true life story about men who went away to fight and the close-knit village they left behind. It is a poignant piece of theatre, but there’s also a lot of humour, and is a great play to see. Don’t miss it.
