As well as all the other special events marking the start of WWI, the Legion will still have, at its heart, the November Poppy Appeal.
At some time in June, I will get details of what can be ordered ready for distribution and sale in October/November, and I am taking it for granted, please, that all those good people and businesses who were involved last year are willing to help again.
I also repeat my offer to do a bit of a ‘jobshare’, if anyone has some time on their hands in October/November and would like to work with me, they will enjoy meeting people, seeing our outlying schools, pubs, shop – transport is not essential!
