A small group meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Institute at about 10.00 for a chat and coffee, to knit for a wide variety of charities.
Over the last 15 months, we have sent items to KasCare, a project for AIDS orphans, a local baby unit, Aquabox. and Samaritans Purse. We have also made hats for Barnabas and St. Mungo’s, both charities for the homeless.
If you would like to come along and perhaps help with some simple knitting we would love to see you. We ask for £1 per month which helps with the purchase of wool and postage.
