Despite very poor weather conditions the bonfire and fireworks display went ahead on Saturday 2nd November. The Community Association committee would like to give a huge thank you to the following groups of people who helped to make it happen: supporters, ticket sellers, wood collectors, bonfire builders, marshals, food helpers, bonfire lighters, fireworks team, electricians, Sunday site cleaners (with a special mention to Dean Hallam who worked tirelessly all week collecting wood and bonfire building).
But most of all YOU who came to support us. Thank you. Unfortunately due to the weather the numbers who attended were low and we made a financial loss.
We have heard some people were unhappy about the lack of family tickets. We tried a new system this year after it was felt single parent families missed out. We will review this decision.
Christmas Coffee Morning Christmas has come to Tideswell in many of our shops already. So please do come to support our Christmas Coffee Morning.
Saturday 7th December at Fountain Square Church Hall from 10.00 – 1200. All the money that the Community Association raises goes back into the community.
