I was in London recently, at the launch of the Do Something Brilliant campaign: a celebration of communities and community volunteers spearheaded by The Media Trust.
At the launch beside Carrie Warr and myself from Taste Tideswell, there were media bigwigs and charity leaders from around the country.
The Taste Tideswell stand was busy and visitors were genuinely interested how Tideswell is uniquely tackling the countrywide problem of the closure of small family owned shops.
But Taste Tideswell can’t do it alone. This month sees the launch of Philip Stafford’s Shop in Tideswell business, enabling everyone easy access to products sold in the village via his website, shopintideswell.co.uk.
If you currently don’t Shop in Tideswell I seriously urge you to – and now with online shopping an option, there really is no excuse at all.
