I received a letter for this month’s Village Voice. It concerned the unfortunate and untimely death of a Tideswell resident. It expressed some powerful views and ended with a plea to gossip-mongers to think before judging.
I have unfortunately been unable to print it, as it came in anonymously. The Village Voice has always sought to include all contributions it receives but cannot publish anonymous letters. Where contributors wish to have their details withheld, a note to that effect is all that is necessary.
And whilst I’m on the subject of contributions, whilst I understand not everyone has access to a computer and email, I do get contributions that have been produced on a computer, printed out and then posted through my door. Please if you can send them by email as it is far quicker and easier to produce the VV that way.
