It’s Wormhill’s week to let its hair down at the end of August. The well dressing week runs from Saturday 24th August until the 1st of September. Festivities open on the 24th with the Well Blessing Service at 7.15pm with Fairfield band. There’s a barbecue at the village hall after the service.
During the week, refreshments are served daily at the village hall and there is a display in the Church. On Wednesday 28th Aug there’s a Whist Drive at 8pm in the village hall and on Saturday 31st Aug it’s Movie Night at the village hall starting at 8pm.
