Many thanks to Nick Brelsford and Tideswell Community Players re the performance held in Church during Wakes Week. Nick penned some of the memories we have recorded and members of the Community Players read them to the audience, a truly wonderful performance, brilliant dialogue and humour displayed most appropriately. A most enjoyable evening, well done to Nick and T.C.P. We are hoping to host another similar performance later in the year.
Our Poetry Competition closes 31st July, we will make a decision sometime in August and the winners will be notified. The results will be posted in Gratton Gardens and the next issue of V.V. Our thanks to all the poets for your time and effort.
