The group joined forces with Chesterfield Branch of Diabetes UK to hold a fashion show at Masson Mill, Cromford. 4 models from each group showed the audience a range of casual and dressy clothes. The two male models won particular affection from the crowd. Thanks to all who gave their time voluntarily.
A sum of £270 per group was raised.
Both groups help people with diabetes. The Chesterfield group is mainly a fund raising group for Diabetes UK, while High Peak give practical help, support and training, as there is no dedicated Diabetes Centre.
The next meeting of High Peak group is on Monday 15th July at 7.00pm at the Buckingham Hotel, Buxton. All welcome.
