Thank you all for attending our gathering in March. It was a great success and the continued support the team are getting from the village is great!
One of the main things from the meeting was that people really wanted to see more streets and houses decorated so get your thinking caps on and your crepe paper orders in! Carnival is now less than 3 months away and on the back of suggestions from you all we are busy with the paperwork and planning the programme of events. We will be present at the Tideswell Food Festival in May, so if you don’t want roping in then try and avoid our stall! Tideswell Wakes Queen – we are currently pulling together a photographic ‘timeline’ of Tideswell Wakes Queens from years gone by to the present day. We would be really grateful if you would let us use any pictures you have. If you could forward them to us via email that would be great but if you only have a hard copy please contact Trish Smith or Sharon Jellis and we will copy these with your permission and get them back to you. 2013 currently has a vacancy.
