We have noticed on Facebook that there is revived interest in facilities at
the sports complex, netball in particular. It is very welcome to see new
names expressing interest especially as the complex has struggled to get a
managing committee for quite some time. It is really good to see enthusiasm
for making the most of such a brilliant facility.
As the complex was acquired with considerable Sports Lottery funding and
the ground is subject to three leases held by the Community Association it
is vital that all these ideas and plans be processed through the Sports
sub- committee of the Community Association so that all legal requirements
can be met.
With this in mind we would urge all interested parties to come to the
Community Association AGM on Monday 5th June, 7pm at the sports pavilion.
It will be great to hear new ideas and hopefully see some new and
enthusiastic faces
