The Parish Council have began organising a restoration and repair project for the Cemetery.
The main aim is to make safe fallen and sunken graves at the Cemetery.
We are keen to make sure the Cemetery improves and is a peaceful and well kept area. To do this we need to look at making these repairs.
It may be that old, fallen stones will need to be removed. The effected graves date back many many years and we will be making every possible effort to contact relatives of those graves which need repair.
If you have a family connection to a grave in Tideswell cemetery which you believe will need to be included in this repair and restoration project it would be most helpful if you could contact Hannah Owen Parish Clerk so she can discuss plans with you.

The Clerk and Cllr Chapman recently completed a Cemetery Management training course and have been advised about regulations which should be introduced at the Cemetery to enable successful management and maintenance of the area. The Parish Council very much want to work with the community on this and the suggested regulations which we are being advised on will be discussed and advertised in due course. We will welcome any feedback and comments on this at that time.
