Thanks to everyone who supports people in crisis in the local community by donating to High Peak Foodbank. This month we particularly need: UHT milk, rice, adult toothbrushes and toothpaste, tinned vegetables, loo roll, dried packet meals, coffee and plastic shopping bags.
There is a box at the back of St John’s Parish Church, Tideswell, for non-perishable food or toiletries.
Our Work and Skills Programme has been a huge success with more than 30% of participants who were previously unemployed starting work. We are looking for further funding or sponsorship to extend this, so we’d be grateful if you could contact us if you know any organisation that might be able to offer support.
