This year’s theme for Well Dressing week (23rd August to 31st August) is the Centenary of WW1 on the main well board and the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Church on the churchyard board.
There will be an exhibition in the Church about the First World War and a Poppy Trail within the churchyard for people to see the graves of fallen heroes. Other events include
Barbeque after well blessing service at 7.15pm on Sat. 23rd August
Whist Drive 28th August at the village hall 8pm
Ceilidh 30th August at the village hall 8pm with licensed bar
Homemade refreshments all week in village hall
