Hello all. At our recent meeting at Judy’s house, crumpets and birthday cake out of the way, we finally got to discuss the DVD we are starting to put together and decided to put out an appeal for the following:-
Has anybody got any ‘videos’ of past Tidza Carnivals? My appeal on ‘Tideswell People’ has generated some offers – thank you Phil Gregory and Lynne Riley, however we would still like some more to view, if we use your material we will of course credit your names on the DVD.
Has anybody got any photographs of the Flower Festivals held in the Parish Church? again we would love to view and possibly use them.
The request I had from Germany generated a couple of responses and Mr Hans Peter Plas has sent me a postcard expressing his thanks and goes on to say what a wonderful village and impressive Church we have.
One final request, we are always happy to accept any old photographs especially from the 70s to present time, remember these are our history which we want to preserve for future generations.
