We hope you have all seen the posters around the village advertising our forthcoming ‘slide show’ of Tideswell. Some of them date back to the late 1800s and will most certainly grab your attention and take you on a trip down Memory Lane.
The presentation is in Fountain Square Church Hall on Sunday 23rd February at 14.00. Tea and cakes will be served.
This event is not to be missed and we invite you all to come along.
And there’s more. The Local History Group and the Living History Group will shortly be able to use the ‘coach house’; one of the ‘garages’ of the George Hotel.
This will be shared by both groups and will become an information point and house items of historical interest and photos and lots more. This is something I am sure you will agree our village needs.
