Ballet, Shakespeare and opera are all coming to Tideswell in the next few weeks, thanks to Tideswell Cinema’s satellite link to the Royal Opera House and the National Theatre.
On Monday 27th January, the romantic classic ballet Giselle will be shown, at 19.00 in The George. That same week, on Thursday 30th, Shakespeare’s seething tragedy of political manipulation and revenge, Coriolanus,is being screened live from the National Theatre. The opera Don Giovanni is a couple of weeks later, on Wednesday 12th February.
